the all new Nissan Teana features 3 models; a 3.5L v6 engine, 2.5 litres, 6 cylinder 24 valve V6 engine and also 2.0 Litres 4 cylinder 16 valves engine with both cars features CVTC (continuous valve timing control) and paired to a silky smooth X-Tronic CVT transmission.
For the 2.5 litre engine, the power that has been indicated is 182ps at 6,000 RPM and 228Nm of torque and for the 2.0 litre engine, the rated power is 136ps with the torque of 190Nm which is quite good for a 2.0 Litre engine.
Those who want the ultimate Teana can opt for the 3.5L V6 engined variant (VQ35DE) with 252 PS and 326 Nm of torque. It also comes with Xtronic, but with six virtual ratios in a manual mode and without the above-mentioned oil cooler. Unlike the other two variants, the 3.5L is imported CBU from Japan.
Besides that, all cars models of Teana will feature a Twin Orifice Vehicle Speed Sensing Power Steering (TOPS) which I presume a variable speed power steering as what we have seen features in the Honda Accord dubbed Variable Gear Ratio (VGR) steering wheel which essentially varying the feel of the steering as the vehicles moves on, where it is light on slow speed especially during parking manoeuvre and quite heavy during accelerated drive. This car also features a very generous legroom with stats stated a wheel base of 2775mm , the same wheel base as Toyota Camry with only Honda Accord features slightly longer wheel base at 2800mm .
In terms of other features, the all new Nissan Teana has been equipped with Xenon headlight system for the 2.5 Litre model, a UV cut glass, LED side turn mirror and rear combination lamp, a MP3 with 6 disc CD changer with 6 speakers, a Multi Function Display, a Start/Stop button system, and a cruise control.
In terms of safety, the all new Nissan Teana features a total of 6 air bags, VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control), ABS and BA (Brake Assist), EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution), a reverse sensor, an immobilizer, pre tensioner and load limiter seat belt system, and lastly an Active Head Restrained System.
